Arrival at Dublin airport. Independently transfer to your hotel. Day to rest and recover from jet lag. Group welcome dinner in the evening. Stay in Dublin for 3 nights.
Wednesday, June 17
Explore Dublin with a deaf local guide, starting with a general Irish history walk including O’Connell Street, the General Post Office, the EPIC Museum, and the Famine Memorial. In the afternoon cross the Liffey down to St. Stephen's Green, Trinity College, and the Book of Kells exhibition.
Thursday, June 18
Visit Kilmainham Gaol in the morning followed by the Guinness Storehouse. Afternoon free time for shopping and wandering in the Grafton Street area.
Friday, June 19
Depart for Belfast in Northern Ireland. Learn more about the Troubles between Catholics and Protestants with a deaf local native of Belfast who experienced them firsthand. Afterwards, continue to Portrush. Stay near Portrush for 2 nights.
Saturday, June 20
Take a pleasant drive along the Antrim Coast to visit the Bushmills Distillery, Giants' Causeway, and Dunluce Castle.
Sunday, June 21
Depart for Derry to visit the historic city located on the edge of the Northern Ireland/Ireland border, including the Tower Museum and the Free Derry Museum. In addition, walk around the Bogside to see the powerful murals and learn more about the Troubles. Move on to Westport/Sligo overnight for one night.
Monday, June 22
Visit a sheep farm demonstration, and Kylemore Abbey. Possible stop at Connemara National Park. Evening free in Clifden. Sleep in Clifden for two nights.
Tuesday, June 23
Take the ferry to Inishbofin Island for the day to experience rural Irish island life and enjoy one of the most stunning walks of Ireland.
Wednesday, June 24
Stop by Galway for lunch and a brief visit of the lively university town. Drive down to the dramatic Cliffs of Moher. Cross the Killimer-Tarbert ferry and continue on to Dingle. Stay in Dingle for 2 nights.
Thursday, June 25
Take a driving tour around the Dingle Peninsula, including Slea Head, the Blasket Island Museum, and Gallarus Oratory. Afternoon to rest and relax in the charming town of Dingle.
Friday, June 26
Visit the Gap of Dunloe, then stop by a sheep farm for a sheep dog and sheep herding demonstration. Then see the Ladies’ View over Killarney. Stay in Killarney or Kenmare for 2 nights.
Saturday, June 27
Take a pleasant hike around Killarney National Park and have a relaxing day to shop in the cute town of Killarney.
Sunday, June 28
Depart the West of Ireland to drive back to Dublin. Stop by Blarney Castle and the Rock of Cashel. Farewell dinner. Overnight near Dublin airport.
Monday, June 29
Transfer to Dublin airport for your flight back home.
