Full itinerary

Sunday, March 9
Arrival into Incheon in the morning. Transfer to hotel in Seoul. Stay in Seoul for 4 nights. 

Monday, March 10
Visit National Museum of Korea, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Blue House (President House), Bukchon Hanok Village.

Tuesday, March 11
Drive north to see the DMZ – the demilitarized zone separating South Korea and North Korea. Return back to Seoul after lunch. Visit Changdeokgung Palace. Go up Seoul Tower for a scenic view of the city. After dinner, we walk alongside the river at Cheonggecheon.

Wednesday, March 12
Conditions permitting, we visit Korean Deaf School. Go up Lotte World Tower, the tallest building in Seoul. Check out Seoul Olympic Park. Dinner at Food Street.

Thursday, March 13
Morning flight from Seoul to Jeju Island. After lunch, we start exploring the island: Jeju Stone Park, Daepo Haean Jusangjeoll Cliff, Jeongbang Waterfall, Hallasan National Park. Stay in Jeju for 2 nights. 

Friday, March 14
Second day of exploring the island: Spirited Garden, Manjanggul Cave, Seongsan Ilchulbong and Loveland.

Saturday, March 15
Depart Jeju for Busan. After checking into hotel, we take a stroll at Haneundae Beach and Dongbaek Park. Free time in the evening. Stay in Busan for 3 nights. 

Sunday, March 16
Morning visit at Busan Museum of Art. After lunch, we visit Gamcheon Culture Village. Go up Diamond Tower for a scenic view of the city. Jagaichi / Nampo seafood street.

Monday, March 17
Take a bus for an hour to visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. Return after lunch to visit Museum Dah. Free time in the evening with an optional visit to Spa Land, which is the largest spa in Korea.

Tuesday, March 18
Transfer to Gyeongju, the eastern part of South Korea. See the UNESCO World Hieritage site Bulguksa Temple. Stay in Gyeongju for 2 nights. 

Wednesday, March 19
Walking tour of Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond and more historic sites around Gyeongju.

Thursday, March 20
Depart Gyeongju for Jeonju. Explore the Hanok village on foot. Overnight in Jeonju. Stay in Jeonju for 1 night. 

Friday, March 21
Explore more of Jeonju before transferring to Seoul. Farewell dinner. Stay in Seoul for 1 night. 

Saturday, March 22
Drive to the airport for your return flight.

About your Co-Tour Leaders

Martin Dale-Hench has been a resident of Japan since 2013, and he currently splits his time between Washington DC and Tokyo as he pursues a PhD degree in Linguistics at Gallaudet University. He is originally from Michigan, but he has been struck with wanderlust since he was a child and travels all around the world constantly. He enjoys learning languages, reading history, meeting new people, and learning trivia. He currently works as a Certified Deaf Interpreter and a translator of ASL, JSL, Japanese, and English. 

Jungsun is a Souel, South Korea native. She crossed the Pacific to study at Gallaudet University and graduated there. At Gallaudet, she also worked as a teacher at the English Language Institute. Currently, she is in Seoul working as a Deaf Interpreter and teaching at a Deaf school, as well as guiding around the country. She is excited to show you the history, culture, and food in South Korea.
